Here's a reminder of the great feat's Brian Weikle accomplished during season 19 of Jeopardy back in April 10-16 2003. During Brian's five day run he achieved the following:
- On April 14, 2003, Brian set a new single-day cash winnings record of $52,000.
- On April 14, 2003, Brian also set a new regular play cash winnings record of $104,800 surpassing a record held by Frank Spangenberg ($102,597) since season 6.
- By his 5th day April 16, 2003, he racked up the highest winnings of $149,200 in Jeopardy of any player to date. (This was the last season before Jeopardy lifted the limit on players only being able to win 5 days in a row.)
- Ten years later, Brian still is #9 in the highest one day winnings record book ($52,000) and #13 in the highest total winnings record book ($149,200) on Jeopardy.
- Won $56,601 Tournament of Champions (2003)
- Won $25,000 Ultimate Tournament of Champions (2005)
Please note: Brian Weikle was on Jeopardy April 10-16, 2002. Apparently, the decades they describe are actually 1983 - 1993, 1994 - 2003, 2004 - 2013. (Go figure?)
